Vivian Ann (Sabatelli) Lipscomb, 88, passed away after a brief illness on December 30, 2019 in Wellington, FL.
She was born in Youngstown, Ohio on July 30, 1931. She graduated from South High School in 1949. She lived in Youngstown, Ohio until 1986 and then moved to Pompano, Florida. Where she worked with her daughter and Son-in-law at North Ridge Electric, Inc., until she retired. Vivian was first married to Kenneth Evans from 1949 to 1964 and then married Leroy (Bubby) Lipscomb in 1966. She was active in the Catholic Church at St. Dominic’s in Youngstown, Ohio and then at St. Coleman’s in Pompano, FL.
Those who survive Vivian will remember her as a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and the best cook ever.
She is survived by her 5 children, Michele and Rodney Poole of Wellington, Fl., Ken Evans and David Lamie, of Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, Phillip Lipscomb of Peyton, CO., Ellen and Randy Wagner of Wellington, Fl. and Scott and Debbie Lipscomb of Pompano Beach, FL. and 2 stepchildren, Patty and Reynold Nesbitt of Austintown, OH and Harold and Patti Lipscomb of Hubbard OH. Her grandchildren Kyra Kittle, Peyton Lipscomb, Michele and Gabriela Poole, Ashley and Nicholas Wagner, Nathan and Stella Lipscomb, Shawn, Shane, Shannon Nesbitt and Shari Buchman, Michael Lipscomb and Julie Burkholder; Great-grandchildren Emma and Olivia Kittle, Maddox Lipscomb, Brianna, Haleigh, Jensen, Killian, Brandon and James Nesbitt, Jackson and Isiah Behun; Step Grandchildren Robert Poole. Kimberly Poole; Step great-granddaughter, Morgan Poole; Her sister-in-law, Jenny Morris.
She was proceeded in death by her mother and father, first and second husbands and 2 stepchildren.
The family will receive friends at St. Jude Catholic Church, 21689 Toledo Road, Boca Raton, FL 33433 on Saturday, January 4, 2020 from 9:30-10:30am. Funeral Mass will take place at 10:30am. Interment will follow at Deerfield Beach Cemetery. A luncheon will be held following the burial.
